Pianist Anika Vavic is convincing in a program that mixes stylistic apples and oranges: Beethoven stands alongside Schumann, Chopin next to Prokofiev.

But the way she plays all that - is simply breathtaking!

The Serbian-born artist, of whom Daniel Barenboim has said that she is able to conjure up the sound palette of an entire orchestra, also pays attention to the contexts of motifs, creating atmosphere and tension.
