If you have been wondering why there was a silence on my website, there is a reason - I was busy writing my first novel!

"Chromatics" is a fictional story about a young, a famous Russian pianist, obsessed with Scriabin. An extraordinary female artist who lives in Vienna and is at the peak of her fame, she follows a narrow course between the white and black piano keys, under stage lights, the dark side of her personality, the morals and taboos of the society in which she lives, standing ovations and the secret she hides. The novel throws light on the life of the artist behind the curtains, and the reader is given an opportunity to observe the world of the music professional from a new angle. I won't reveal everything. The novel is not autobiographical although it interweaves many of my own experiences and quotes from many great people who meant a lot to me and whom I wished to immortalize.

The novel is to be translated into a few languages. More details are to follow in the autumn when my new concert season starts.
